The first cover does look retarded, I agree with you here.
Molested played very good Death Metal, but as the members contributed to Norwegian Black Metal bands (Borknagar, Gorgoroth and surely some more I donít remember at the moment), one may have an ambivalent feeling towards them.

As for the cover I couldn't disagree more. I really hope the vinyl comes with the original cover as I just can't stand the new one made by Smith. Though he proved a keen sense with seizing the initial theme instead of making up a totally new design it feels like there's the grotesque fright missing.

What you said about the latter actions of Erlend and ōystein ranks among the dumbest I've ever read on this board. Why the bloody hell should I give a single fuck about e. g. Gorgoroth when enjoying Molested? Where's your point?

It is rather your comment which is dumb, if you canít imagine why. As we have seen, we disagree on the cover, though I normally prefer re-releases to come with the original cover. I like the new one better anyway.

Pre-ordered! Looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of this finally.

Does anyone know when the Ars Magna re-issue is released? Thanks.

Sorry about the bump. I just wanted to express my delight at the long overdue vinyl pressing of this album.

I also noticed that the Christian of Galgenstrang posted here, and would like to inquire about any future LP pressings, specifically any Effigy Records releases. I'd love to see a LP pressing of Algol's "Entering the Woods of Enchantment" or Judgement Day's "Cir-cum-cis-ion of the Mar-tyr".

I'm fortunate enough to own the original pressings of both of those albums but I can't help but feel that they deserve an LP pressing as well, if not as much as "Blod-draum" deserved one.

I received an email from Christian of Galgenstrang today.

The vinyl has just arrived from processing, and I've placed my order. I cannot wait to receive my copy!

That looks like a good release. No change to the layout it seems.

I got my LP today. The cover is quite thin, but the sound of the vinyl is great. Just a bit annoying that the lyrics are not presented compared to the CD.

got mine today. damn, how do labels like this get the rights to rerelease such classic recordings? Floppy, thin jacket, no insert, blurry/blown up art, and the vinyl was shipped in the jacket so it split on the spine and top. Luckily the vinyl itself seems like good quality but c'mon.

Got mine and I have the impression that they scanned the artwork from the CD, blurred it and re-seized. That's why it looks that cheap.
