I only have the first album, but this band was really fucking strange, but killer. If you listen closely enough to the solos you can still tell the guys from Living Death are on guitar despite the total madness of the riffs.

This band will never be trendy among the typical thrash crowd, or at all really. Easily one of the coolest progressive bands I've heard.

Excellent, underrated band. I like every album I've heard from them, including Lurking Fear.

Check out this awesome old footage of Mekong Delta live. I have noo idea how they came up with this music!!! The dissonance on some of their riffs is unbelievable.

Not sure about that question (Deathrow), you should check Metal-archives. The entire band used fake names for a long time and didn't release any photos or information because they feared that German musicians were shunned by the rest of the world. The only thing I know about their lineup is that both guitarists in Living Death were on the early works.

As far as band material, I recently saw the self titled tape on ebay for cheap:

This band goes far beyond trends. their latest album (an special edition with dvd) is great in my opinion.

The mastermind behind this band is Ralph Hubert, who worled as producer and engineer for some German classic albums. memebers have included Jorg Michael and Peavy of Rage, Both living death guitar players, etc
