Anyone out there think Burzums bass on this CD kicks ass?
I think the music is better than the official album. I was really suprised upon first listen yesterday.....

I like it more than De Mysteriis. It's an enjoyable listen once in a while.

Most certainly, the rough bass sound is great + some different song parts like the intro to De Mysteriis...

But better than DMDS? Give me a break!

Yes, just listening to this last night. Bass sounds great, and the drums rule, too. The vocals are the highlight of this to me.

You mean the highlight is there are no vocals?

WTF? What is the disc that has alternate versions - roughs, etc. - of DMDS? And it HAS vocals. Bass is also higher in the mix

That sounds like you are describing "Life Eternal" maybe?

I want to hear that. Fom the Darkest Past is good, but it would also be great to hear these other raw versions with Attila's vocals.

It's killer. There's like one or two diff drum intros, too.

I meant the production/music in general. I've never really been a huge fan of De Mysteriis anyway.
