I kinda lost track of this genre after maranatha and fourth reich,it seems the old bands stopped or changed too much.Am I missing something good?I mean new bands playing in the vein of draco, salvation, rabid death's curse, ond spiritism etc not something too weird and modern/technical.

there are a few (like everyone else said, Numinous), but most of the "religious" black metal of this decade is shitty but people pay attention because the artwork is covered in triangles.

Malhkebre, if you'd like to stay strictly on topic, but allergic to triangles and snakes! Wink From obscure category - Genuflexiˇn (Argentina). However, musically both are not likely to the bands requested by OP.

Theurgia from Chile surprised me a lot, their debut mcd passed unnoticed and it's superb.
It was suggested in an essential Black Metal list by Semjaza from TDS/Acrimonious, and it really took me back to the late nineties/early 2000 atmosphere.

Their "Lucer Sequimur" track has a lot of that ┤Draco` vibe.

Ofermod's Sol Nox is cool too, but certainly doesn't top Mysterion. Not even close.

Echoing the Numinous recommendations. Really recommend Mortuus - De Contemplanda Morte... and their Silence Sang The Praise of Death EP as well, one of the highlights in black metal of the past decade in my opinion. Always been fond of Ascension - Consolamentum, too.

Any idea where one could find a Numinous record these days? I just did some poking around, but not enough.
