"Good riddance" hahaha you guys are bastards

1st album is super solid Death Metal. Good riffing in there, extremely well-crafted Death Metal. Better than many recent Asphyx albums

Never cared much about them (still better than Bolt Throower in their later days) but when heard that Ingram is with them, got more interested. Nevermind then.

"...of Frost and war "is one of my favorite "newer" death metal albums. Killer record with killer songs like "Ordered eastward or "Red wolves of Stalin"

...of Frost and War was great! Rommel Chronicles wasn't bad. They played solid gigs. Asphyx live is also solid all the time. But I didn't like the last Asphyx albums, so Hail of Bullets was an alternative.

For a "Supergroup" they were a good band, unlike the latest piece of shit that Attila did with Joey Jordison.

The degree to which this statement is false is truly mind-boggling.

yeah bolt thrower still had a few memorable songs per album even if most of it was total phoned in shit. hail of bullets was just fucking retarded. I mean it makes mid 90s Sodom making crossover about Star Wars and killing fat women seem like fucking In the Nightside Eclipse.

They weren't bad but mediocre at best. Not as good as Asphyx or Pestilence.

What's disappointing is the old lead singer from Benediction had just joined the band but he'll never be on an album. That poor guy has really bad luck with bands.

Heard Memorium. Again, not bad but mediocre and a bit of a snoozer. I may get more into it though.

I'm not crying. First one is good, but nothing more. Digipak looks great, cd from front side looks like vinyl, great, really, but that's all. Good music, nothing more, nothing less. "The Rack" mixing with "Consuming Impulse" is thousand percents better, thousands...

Was looking forward to hearing them with Ingram though. The live footage I saw with him seemed pretty good.

same here! I really wanted to hear an HoB album with Ingram on vocals, it would have been the perfect fit, after van Drunen inflation...

in fact they posted a snippet on soundcloud with Ingram doing vocals on "Swoop", before they announced the split-up https://soundcloud.com/stephangebedi/hail-of-bullets-swoop-of-the-falcon-edit-with-dave-ingram-vocals
