HAIL DOOM WARRIORS!!!!!

Recently scored the original 1st pressing of:

SLEEP- JERUSALEM CD (green cd w/black lettering. brown-pinkish cover art work w/cross & pot leaf on back). total "La Raza-Chicano" old school style artwork/lettering!

Sounds fukin great!

no copyright. no barcode. just a small thank list inside inlay.

how rare is this piece? just how many copies pressed/issued?

All I gotta say is what a fukin "MAMMOTH DOOM MONSTER"!!!!!!!!!!

I have all 3x versions now. incl. the "Dopesmoker" 2XLP.

would like to get your thoughts on this classic cult masterpiece?

Doomed from the Start since 1971.

Hahaha yeah, it's awesome. I prefer Dopesmoker though, the rougher, extended mix just sounds so much better.

The doom by which all others must be judged!

I also have this version, I think it is the self released 'Official Bootleg' version, released after London Records backed out of it and before the Rise Above version was released

This album rules. Just got to watch the movie, Holy Mountain. Anyone who can listen to that album and watch this movie and the same time is guranteed a serious acid flashback!

I have that version as well. Not sure how many were done. It was TeePee who bootlegged it, not the band...

Actually if you look at the artist Arik Roper's typography on that version, that is pretty much what I told him to do when he made the 20 Buck Spin logo. I said do the same thing with a little Darkthrone mixed in.

Probably from the show they just played in the UK. They played all of Holy Mountain, plus a few others...

I'll stick to my live at Gilman in '92 tape.

Good to know, I might try one day. I doubt it will happen though, since I never took acid. Did you watch it with or without sound, did the film sound merge with the Sleep sound or not?
