The Flying Luttenbachers "Incarceration By Abstraction"

There's plenty more where this comes from

Heard of this band a lot, but this is my first time hearing it, I listened to the whole album. I used to watch your drum videos on myspace and I knew you played sax on that Hella song, but I didn't realize you also played guitar. Holy fuck that album was nuts (and good). Did you record those guitars live in a full take? Damn I gotta up my game.

I still hold Flo's performance on Whisper Supremacy in high regard. He goes apeshit on "Cold Hate Warm Blood." Those changes from jazz part into blast beat is so smooth.

Amen! Had that album in the car a few weeks ago, was a long time ago, but aged very well.

It’s surprising to me, but these days I actually prefer And Then You’ll Beg. The packaging is awful, but the production is great and it’s by far the wackiest material Jon Levasseur ever wrote.

FRONTIERER - headache-inducing in the way that listening to Gorguts' Obscura for the first time is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG9-EzQFDfI

THE END: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_-49_pxKdQ

DESTROYER DESTROYER - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuW0DBeP1io

CAPSULE - little known, think of a more upbeat Off Minor but with even better musicianship... this record is mindblowing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAuqp63eKVE

And come on... later DSO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGqV58VrAg4

we just played our first shows in 12 years, but the stuff we're playing now is more noisy, not as technical. glad you dug it. if you like the really complicated stuff, basically check out the albums "infection and decline" on . . .

i did two solo records ("systems emerge" was the other), but "incarceration" has a ton of punch ins, because the band was done and i just wanted to get it over with . . . i didn't have the patience to learn all that shit. LOL. all the stuff on "systems emerge" was learned and done in complete takes though.

Unexpected to see them mentioned here but great band. Their new band WRONG is good too, if anyone likes Helmet style stuff

Perhaps not "extremely technical", but I saw Tomas Haake recommending Trans AM's Futureworld, and damn that drummer can play.
