I want to see your test presses. Add your photos and any info on the ones you got. I know a lot of you may feel they are ridiculous to hunt down however I feel it is fucking cool to hear and see the record that the musicians/labels approved to be worthy to unleash upon us.

I was going to post in the recent scores threads although most of the stuff on those are not as much scores as just recent purchases, think I’d rather see its own thread. I will add some photos soon

If there is a thread already like this one please point me in that direction and delete this one.

Post script: if you have a FAOD test that you’d care to part with I’m your guy Twisted Evil

Not really worship or a score as in something I hunted down but I contributed to a 2LP comp & actually received a test pressing for it plus a few more copies after it was pressed. That was a new one for me so kinda cool.

I've got a bunch, a few I sought out, some i came came randomly, some given to me as gifts.

couple I got recently, wasn't even aware of these records but they're both cool bootlegs. these are links to the regular versions of each, no entries or photos on discogs of the test presses but I can take some later)
Morbid Angel - Turning the Cross Towards Hell (live in Cleveland 1994)

One gripe I have about so called "TP" as their listed in discogs, is that a lot of these were actually intended as promos and probably exist in much larger quantities than the typical "test press". This seems to be common with early 90s Death Metal from larger labels.

edit: to stay on topic, the only Test press i own is Genocide's Black Sanctuary. white label, no promo packet, hand filled out labels.. legit test press.
