Weltengänger was the album that got me into Lunar Aurora, start with that one. I also recommend Hoagascht, Ars Moriendi, Seelenfeuer and Mond.

"Of Stargates and Bloodstained Celestial Spheres".

This one is their pinnacle imho.

Thanks for the Lunar Aurora recommendations!

Haha pretty much, but Hot Rats is a great record and pretty much the only one I like. So yeah, that one.

Thanks, the only thing makes me wanna check out Zappa is Reifert's fanaticism for him.

Wowwwwwwww, I've never been more disappointed by the NWN board hahah.

I love Frank, was pretty much raised with his music. He has a few different musical modes but I'm guessing most people would be interested in his more experimental jazz, virtuoso playing era so I'm going to suggest my personal favorite Waka/Jawaka. Perfect album in my opinion. Can't go wrong with Hot Rats either and that appears to be the crowd favorite here.

That makes no sense. You could've said Autopsy, but it would still sound weird.

Zappa is a goddamn legend. I like some tracks scattered around his exhaustive discography and I admittedly haven't listened to every single song/album, but Hot Rats is my favorite. His son is going on tour this coming fall in the US, CA & UK to play the album in full.

Where the fuck do I start with Motörhead? I haven't listen to many of the albums and I'd like to change that.

Motorhead - start with No Sleep till Hammersmith. Overkill through Iron Fist period is mandatory.

Tricky one. Obviously, to many, the original line-up is untouchable but I have to confess that I personally like their two guitars version more, the one when Wurzel and Phil came into the picture. Although dismissed by the band for being 'unofficial', just listen to my favorite live album of theirs 'No Sleep At All': songs from lesser known albums like 'Rock n'Roll' ("Dogs") are incredibly heavy! So I'd say that if you're looking for a more metal version of MOTÖRHEAD, you could start there. Or with 'Sacrifice' and '1916', killer albums on their own too...
