Does anyone know how many were printed, how rare they are, and how much they go for these days.? I have two in my possession, one in near mint condition, and one in okay condition (sleeve is alright, the tape has some crackles).

PM.

The tape version was nothing unusual....No different art or photos than what you get on the "Dutch" cd version or original lp. So, if you find the tape which is 20 years old all you can really expect is worse sound. All my old tapes from even the early 90's and well stored all have significant deterioration. Probably why the "Dutch" cd version goes for such stupid prices, when the tape offers nothing different.... Not to mention WILD RAGS cassettes were never very good quality/manufacturing to begin with. Poor printing, typos, low grade paper, etc...most had the appearance of "demos" which can be sort of appealling for certain types of stuff, but the fact is there were many other UG labels putting out far superior products at the same period of time...
Anyways.........

Are you sure? My Wild Rags tapes are not of worse quality than Metal Blade or anything similar. They also still sound good. uninteresting fact the early ones were printed in the US while all tape releases from 1991 onward have the "Printed in Canada" sign.

I disagree. The sleeves on FAoD are pretty thick paper with 5 or 6 panels, all photos, lyrics, and liner notes. I will admit that there are quite a few typos in the lyrics though.

I've seen it a sell on ebay a couple times recently. 25, 30 bucks, something like that. Pretty much in the range of what the guys are saying.

What's beyond me is why it's so cheap for the cassette version, the bullshit CD goes for more! Not to mention vinyl. This should've been a tape only release imo.

Yeah, so it can get chewed up after a certain amount of listens.

The "imo" was to avoid fucking retarded comments like this. Had I wanted to hear your feedback I would've asked.

And tapes get "chewed up" if you don't know what you're doing/have a lack of concern/or just don't care about treating them as something fragile.

The sound quality of my FAOD tape (yes on Wild Rags) is fine. The only thing I'd think anyone would complain about is the above mentioned spelling errors.

I'll trade the poor quality one for both a Fire and Steel and From the Fjords LP. Add an original Deathcrush and I'll throw in a Gods of War JL America cassette.

Its not that compilation on the STI site is it? I only have Invoking the Worm and Circleing the Coils of Chaos CDR.

Whats happening with the re-release that Kneel Before the Master's Throne were supposed to do? Anymore info on that? (Btw found out about that on Metal Archives)
