"Gay can't reproduce themselves but there are more and more"

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing
That's fucking great.

That being said, there are a few bands/albums in this genre that I like, though I don't really pay any attention to the lyrics.

Xasthur-Nocturnal Poisoning
Abyssic Hate-Suicidal Emotions
Shining- II

The only bands from this "genre" that I enjoy are not really a part of it, like Strid and Bethlehem, as mentioned prior. I guess the closest I get would be Nyktalgia, though I only have Peisithanatos from them.

Nyktalgia is actually pretty good if you want a rehash of old Burzum and Strid. The first album is much better than the second.

since not many people here seem to like this genre maybe some of you, by chance, have stuff to get rid of that I need.

Life Neglected - Bleeding Hope mc
Life Neglected/Kyla - With Destructive Intent mc
Kyla - demo 2004 mc
Nostalgie - Lost and Hopeless
Nostalgie - Drowning in my own solitude...
Secretly in Pain - Internal Depression
Secretly in Pain - Drowning in my own solitude...
Die Toten kehren wieder mit dem Wind - Verarbeitung eines Schmerzes
While Sad Spirits Around Me Stroll - Demo 2005

so if anyone by some chance has any of these and wants to get rid of them let me know

I'm not very knowledgeable about this sort of music, but I listened to Make a Change Kill Yourself - Chapter III from the s/t album and I must say it's a pretty darn good listen.

I'm looking for this one as well, even some mp3 rip would do.

Tape version is still available...
Copies of the original CDr are very likely deteriorated by now.

btw, this band is thematically far away from any suicidal or depressive topics.

I really like this style although I dont like the term DSBM or the themes in general. I kind of see it more as just Burzum style and to me a lot of it is very relaxing and great for driving around looking at trees or whatever.

My favorites of the style are Trist (czech), Black Howling, Nyktalgia, some Hypothermia stuff. I really like the raw, repetitive sound if that makes any sense.

Trist is #1 though. great riffs and long long songs to get lost in. Probbably lots of bands with a more "put together" sound but bands like trist and black howling really do it for me.

Rolling Eyes 2nd album sounds nothing like Burzum. A good example that you never listened the band further than youtube samples.

100%. I love the first three albums.

Maybe its because im not Swedish but the "depressive" aspect of that band is lost on me completely. sounds very playful, I understand that's probably the point.
