I stand by the idea that labels like EAL started pressing records in such limited quantities based on demand and the idea that those who truly wanted them would get them. Granted there did not appear to be any scientific strategy behind these pressings, but late '99 when they started putting vinyl out, the Black Legion trend hadn't surfaced and those bands were for the most part, truly maligned. It's easy to say in hindsight that limiting records to 100 or 333 copies was a clever ploy, but it's not the label who benefits, rather one of the recipients who manages to sell off one of these releases for a considerable profit.

actually the idea was that only those who were deemed worthy could get them. they soon saw that you can't release records with the intent to just serve the elite. it rightfully backfired at them that they now do represses that look similar.

I enjoyed the BM issue. Anice change of pace from their usual Viking Metal, Metalcore, Deathcore fixation.

Terrorizer sells in mainstream shops. If u want a BM zine, go buy one. There's plenty out there. You've got to understand that if a magazine focused exclusively on underground metal it wouldn't be sold in many shops.

Well, in Norway the shops claim 22 US$ for this mag so I laughed in her lolita face and left the mag at the counter. Later that same day I realized through the world wide web that you can purchase an issue from the terrorizer itself and pay the mere amount of 4.99 including postage to the Norse lands.
