ok. so some copies should be in europe or at least on their way. i sent some to nuclear winter, blood harvest, and iron bonehead.
i have heard very little feedback on this release, but i think anyone who likes stargazer, portal, etc. will find this to be some of the best work in that vein.
up next is the voids of vomit mcd and the rites of thy degringolade "totality" lp. ill do a full update soon when i find some time. _________________ www.birdofillomen.com |

Definitely a 1st class release. Stargazer side is essential in my opinion. Invocation is damn good too.
I only wish there was a little heavier presence of the orig. stargazer art on the LP. _________________ "They consider "dark" works made by 2 notes, full of keyboards useful only to enter in the posers temple." |

yeah i really like the stargazer artwork too. i felt like the art on the cd sort of clashed though. also, i think invocation gets overlooked on that release and their material deserves attention especially since that all they did. i appreciate the feedback though. if i had more resources i may have contemplated a more comprehensive layout but i did waht i could with what i had.
having said that, i like the layout of the lp. simple but well presented. it could defeintely have been better though...theres always room for improving. _________________ www.birdofillomen.com |

I liked the layout too...
It improved on the original Invocation side.
Just missed the stargazer aesthetic. _________________ "They consider "dark" works made by 2 notes, full of keyboards useful only to enter in the posers temple." |

Only got around to listen to it three times so I cannot really comment yet on the audio difference between the CD version and this new one (there has been some tampering on the Stargazer tracks on the cd according to the band), the guitars seem a bit clearer but donīt quote me.
Anyway: I also feel that these recordings are the strongest so far from Stargazer and therefore mandatory. They had another drummer back then who played more ferocious. I noticed his picture was ommitted from the re-issue.
What has been said about Invocation being somewhat overlooked rings true, it was an amazing band - combining/revamping ALL the old artwork would have been nice indeed but I must say that the jacket looks very nice in this reduced red/brown, gold and black colour scheme.
A detailed review should be posted soon.
By the way - will this new artwork be used on the upcoming Stargazer - Harbinger shirts? The guy who released the re-print of the "Borne" design some months ago mentioned there would some new shirts. Thinking of it, a Stargazer/Invocation split shirt would be a great idea. _________________ A nobody in a world of somebodies.

Album II is on the way - tracking commences soon. | Awesome. |
Recording started today.
Song's i've heard thus far are excellent (just rehearsal/live version - may go into the studio tomorrow/sunday and have a listen to the Magick being recorded) _________________ http://www.tzuntzu.com |
