Black Metal legions arise! For all the die-hards who have a memory which stretches beyond ancient times, you will remember a legendary Black Metal compilation released in 1993 by the Greek label Spellbound (originally owned and run by Magus Wampyr Daoloth of Necromantia) entitled "The Wine of Satan". This unholy release featured cult acts such as Beherit, Bestial Warlust, Master's Hammer, The Black and Mortuary Drape.
Now the time has come for the various rumours circulating in the underground to be confirmed: More than a decade later, Necroterror Records will be releasing a continuation of that same Black Metal legacy to be entitled "The Wine of Satan II".
Featuring old-school cover artwork from the master himself Chris Moyen (who created the blasphemous artwork of the original LP), The Wine of Satan II will be released in a limited number of 333 on LP and 666 on CD.
Necroterror Records searched far and wide for acts suited to appear on this truly monolithic compilation. The Wine of Satan II will featured never previously heard material from:
Antaeus -France
Black Witchery -U.S.A.
Code -UK/Norway
Funeral Winds -The Netherlands
Furze -Norway
Inquisition -Colombia/U.S.A.
The One -Greece
Root -Czech Republic

Seriously ! It was the bands which made this compilation a classic, the tracklist of this 2nd volume is very poor I think, besides FUNERAL WINDS, ROOT and INQUISITION. A 2nd volume is not a good idea, itīs just a compilation after all, give it another name and no one would give a shit. |

It looks interesting. I hope it lives up to the stanard of the first comp.
It would be cool to do another Projections of a Stained Mind comp LP with current Swedish metal bands like Nifelheim, Repugnant, Verminous, etc. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

Yes, Black Witchery are OK too. They have worn out very fast on my record player, but they are not in the same league as the others. I personally donīt like ANTAEUS.
Anyway, itīs just like someone wants to do another Metal Deadness, Speed Kills or Warfare Noise. |

I Just add it is an official release done with the appropval of
Magus (ex-Spellbound records), of course.
Black Witchery will probably play a track from the Irreverent demos.
I'll post the cover art asap, it is a continuation of the first TWOS artwork. |

That cover is great! I thought this thread was going to be about a bottle of wine I bought last week with a picture of a goat on it. I even took a picture of it, it was so utterly satanic.
I don't have the first comp, in conjunction you should do a reissue of that as well.
I give you: THE WINE OF SATAN:

That would be beyond cool. Have you ever seen that 10x7" box set mentioned in the liner notes of that comp.? It sounds fucking killer and I've searched high and low all over but I've never even see one for sale or trade ANYWHERE. I'd love to find one. |

Speed Kills... Again! Comp. LP/CD was done by Heavy Artillery not too long ago. But I guess it wasn't out yet at the time when you wrote that message. |
