Tell us what is your fave MORTEM release, and why?
I only have listened SUPERSTITION Demo (very brutal and obscure) & 3 first LPs. Tonight I will buy the Devoted to Evil LP.
The Demon tale is still my fave, in special Unguy Maman- Nother of Disease.
I will get back later... must go to the concert tonight... MORTEM will play tonight after many yearssssssss

| Devil Speaks in Tongues is an almost perfect DM album, but they're all excellent. Devoted to Evil is a very cool release IMO |

| Voted for Decomposed By Possession since it's the first album by Mortem I listened to and liked it the first listen. Does anyone know any place online that has copies of Demon Tales or The Devil Speaks In Tongues for order? |

Yeah, that where 2 great shows at the Pazzop in Bladel. 2003 and 2004. Bladel always had good concerts.

I have seen them tonight, I bought to NEBIROS his DE NATURA DAEMONUM & DEVOTED TO EVIL LPs, and he signed me my stuff, plus signed my other MORTEM releases I took. Besides he recognized me, years I donīt see him, ha !!!
I am shocked !!!
Good show, I will upload next week photos for you to see...
It is said this is the last show, but every band says the same...

FUCK! What a KILLER band! I'm glad these guys got that Moser endorsement cause they sure as hell deserve it. I think all of stuff they have done has been nothing but 110% diehard metal. I still need to get the live album though- how is it? Its a shame MORTEM don't get praised/mentioned more often; I find their style very inspiring...

2nd LP The Devil Speaks In Tongues due to its morbid yet still powerful sound. and the killer Sacrifice coverversion.
All the stuff however deserves to be voted, as this is an awesome and astonishing band still delivering fantastic Dark Death Metal albums. |

Hard to tell between "Demon tales" and "The devil speaks in tongues".
Anyway, you can't go wrong with every release the band has spawn !
I remind of the day when I got "Decomposed by possession", I was blown out by the ability of the band to write catchy, genuine tunes and still retaining its morbid, dark spirit floating throughout the entire album...
I wish they had toured Europe on a wider scale ! |

I love this band. Out of the ones I've heard, Decomposed by Possession is my favorite release.

I voted for Demon Tales. That album has one of the best death metal production.
