They did a radio show at one point, and I recorded it. I'll try to find and upload it for you, it's killer!

Not trying to derail, but is there any news on the 12th Countess album?

Last I heard, it's in the layout stage. I'm not sure when it'll be out, but it is fully recorded... samples and a pre-order page should be up once the layout is finished.

Excellent, can't wait for this!

HAIL! Very Happy

Listening to the Legacies Unchain demos now - wow, this shit is good. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I like his other bands, but the name (and the band photo on the metal archives) always struck me as goofy, like maybe it was very amateur or even kind of a joke band. Not at all... this is really good.

heh, same thing with Misantropical Painforest -- nearly everybody turns their noses up at the name. That's just Kutcheck's sense of aesthetics though... I kinda like it. Glad he didn't give it an ordinary name like Goatkvltfago or Blustery Winter Moonshadow!

absolutely agreed. I love the 'goofy' names, very unusual. the Legacies Unchain material is great. I wish somebody would pay those guys unlimited studio time. there is an awesome artistic vision here, like the most kvlt-goofy-eclectic-morbid Finnish black/death albums ever. somebody DO IT!

I'd settle for that. All the cookie cutter shit out there, and truly creative bands like Misantropical Painforest and Legacies Unchain tend to be ignored.

True but it's always cheap on ebay. DLP is limited to 500 I think.

I had the cd a couple different times... I not too long ago traded # 646/666!

I would like it for awhile... and the songs seemed to drag on an on after a while.

I ordered the vinyl after reading this thread. Listening to it right now for the first time. Seems like you people were right, it works. Even the Varathron cover passes by without making me scream anything about sacrilege. I would be proud of myself for checking out a new band if the album wouldn't be already 6 years old.

If you like this, you should check out Faustcoven - Rising From Below the Earth...

Already have the CD's, just waiting for Yosuke to officially release both on vinyl, also looking forward to hearing the new Faustcoven "Hellfire & Funeral Bells" album next summer.

For sure. They feel almost like companion pieces. Hail is slightly better to me, but they are both amazing.
