so to clarify myself I said hipster because Level Plane was a trend hopping label. When screamo was popular they put out screamo. When "post-metal" became popular they released stuff like Isis. When doom became popular they released stuff like bloody panda. That is at least the perspective I had.
I also had some business dealings with the dude when he ran that label and they were less than legit from his end.


The only reason I brought up the topic though was that I had heard he bought the label when it went under, I didn't know he was a part of it already. I was mostly worried that a well respected label was going to go down the tubes but I guess the guy must have some taste afterall.
