Keith from D666 keeps pushing this band. They have an album called "Black Future" out on Heavy Artillery. I haven't had too much time to listen to it, but I think it's pretty good. Reminds me of a mix of Destruction and Coroner despite the Voivod'ish logo.

I agree...this one is killer. Thankfully, it doesn't fall into the retro thrash traps. |

They don't really fit the "Death Fest" bill. But it would be cool to see them live. |

Indeed the best thrash band in years, and one of last year's best albums. I agree with the Coroner and Destruction comparisons, I'd like to add that there are plenty of lengthy prog-influenced sections as well as a distinct Ride the Lightning vibe in parts (for example in Forests of Legend).
The album artwork deserves a mention as well, excellent cover and layout.
Vertical gatefold cover art for the vinyl version:

They're great live, I saw them the last time they went through Denver and they sounded damn near perfect. _________________ Scepter Of Eligos - Sludge/Thrash

Is there any chance to find the 2-LP in Europe somewhere (without paying an insane amount of postage from the US) ? _________________ Tradelist + Good Traders:

Its worth every penny, order it before it's gone!
(I might stock it actually but you better secure a copy from Heavy Artillery before they're gone) |

done
Well, found one copy on German ebay from undergroundpower_metal. He may re-stock the LP on ebay again. Seems a Heavy Artillery distributor.
The myspace tracks make me nervous... definitely some traces of Coroner. Perfect riffing... _________________ Tradelist + Good Traders:
