INFINITUM OBSCURE are close to beggining recording of brand new material.
By the end of July 2007, INFINITUM OBSCURE will enter the studio once again and record 3 completley new songs , this new recording is intended as an "Official Demo" (advance) release for the upcoming new album.
This dark piece or Metal is called " SEEDING DARKNESS " and will be released in a limited edition tape format by none other than the infamous NUCLEAR WAR NOW ! Productions.
" SEEDING DARKNESS " will feature artwork by old time personal friend of the band, Ashen , as well as a new version of our band logo re-worked by none other than Timo Ketola (who has previously done art for bands like Dissection, Watain, Deathspell Omega, Kaamos, Verminous, Dead Congregation and others)
This recording will once again be handled by Ed Talorda, of DISGORGE (usa)
More information on the new demo recording will be available as soon as we hit the recording studio, as well as an official release date, etc.
THE SEED OF DARKNESS IS SOON TO BE SOILED...
INFINITUM OBSCURE.

Their previous releases are more like The Chasm. I'm so glad they changed their graphic artist because their old stuff looked like shit.

Their bass player, namely Robert, was the bass live session player for INCANTATION; he made a pretty good job with it...
And his main band, INFINITUM OBSCURE, is worth checking out ! |

The new stuff is more like The Chasm mixed with black metal or something.

Roberto plays guitar and does vocals for Infinitum Obscure, actually. But he does play bass with Incantation and will be playing bass for The Chasm next month at the Gathering of the Bestial Legions in Los Angeles. Which is gonna rule, btw.
If you guys have not checked out Infinitum Obscure you're missing out on some amazing dark death metal!
