Some of these amps (newer) have to be set up over the TV screen, like my Pionoeer. All the proper speaker settings etc etc have on screen display set ups.
There should be a phono setting on the receiver though I would think and a ground wire connection as well to utilize for the record player. One of your front control dials should switch between CD, Phono, DVD, Input 1, Input 2, and whatever is the radio, or something to this effect anyways.
Looking at the back of that receiver though I don't see a ground wire connection either. May not be designed as a the best option for a record player, however maybe newer records players do not need ground wires either. Depends on a few factors I suppose.
CD players can be plugged into DVD etc etc.
Try different methods and see if anything plays. |

I suggested the ones below them since the ones below are Front A. Since he's only using stereo I'd use those, but the ones you suggest will work too, just make sure to have the speaker button selecting either A, B, or A/B depending or which way you hook them up |
