All inner sleeves should be plain white ones as long as manufacturers can`t seem to spare the needed space. Fucking tired of split printed inner sleeves. Printed stuff as inlays as absolute rule. _________________

I personally view splits and small damages to vinyl as only added personality to the product. To a certain degree, absolute wreckage is only a shame.
I will never buy anything with 'further' profit in mind thus I really do not care about small scuffs and damages. I will never resell any of my prized collection so I do not really concern myself with the appearance of use showing upon the collection, they are supposed to be used correct ?
I want my collection to last exactly only as long as my own life span. Beyond that I really do not care unless of course my son grows to be a appreaciating metal fan, then he will get it all.
However I do not want my collection looking like it was stored in a damp leaking basement either though.
Seems to me that if 'them' who press the albums if they used the heavier stock jackets problems of splitting edges would be limited. Nevermind that a heavy jacket adds at least ten times more awesomeness to the product.
However I do understand your point. Anyone that spends any great amount of money on a particular hobby or object and prizes it wants to have that object(s) appear in the best order they can. |
