Both samples sound great. These will go in my christmas stocking for sure! _________________ There is a country called Tír na N Óg, which means the Country of the Young, for age and death have not found it; neither tears and loud laughter have gone near it. They are OK, but to me they evolved for the better in the new album, so do not expect a similar sound.
Expecting the CD version, both labels always deliver. Now a re-edition of Dodsengel debut CD must be demanded... _________________ Unbound celestial assassins... |

I've been wanting that Hetroertzen to be issued on CD forever. It's such a great album. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

Yes! Amazing album!
Back on topic, the Hetroertzen vinyl has a great booklet, and I am expecting the digipak to deliver...if done right (like the digipak from the last Magnus album) I am all for it... _________________ Unbound celestial assassins... |

The Hetroertzen 24-page booklet of text/lyrics/art looks perfect, as does the glossy gold and red graphics on the digi-pack. Really great print job on this CD.
Some sneak preview photos...
Not often you get this quantity and quality of original hand-drawn artwork in an album. Really has to be seen to appreciate the amount of work and talent that's gone into it. And it fits the music perfectly.

Yes, she did Doomsday Testament zine as well. Amazing, ancient looking stuff. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

Is the same style found on the vinyl version or not? _________________
There's nothing worse than a 45 year old man in a Darkthrone T-shirt and a receding hairline. Even cholera is better.
|

It's same artwork content as the 'Book of the Dragon's Art' that came with the LP, but modified to suit the CD format. In my opinion, this CD booklet has superior print quality than the original book, so the illustrations look even better than they did before. _________________

Good news about that as well...
A strictly limited re-issue of 407 Art's 'Doomsday Testament' zine #1 will be on sale at the Arosian Black Mass at the end of this week.
Limited to 33 copies. NO RESERVATIONS! Please don't ask.
| Quote: | Doomsday Testament MMIX – Magazine of obscure audial propaganda (MMIX)
The first testament of the doomsday promises written amoral banter.
Words of apocalyptic prophecies uttered through the mediums of the occult hordes of the blackest metal and individuals of obscure spirit. A corrosion upon moralistic values released in XIII blood numbered copies. This is not a scripture essentially dedicated to the values of a musical genre but rather one obsessed with the deeper aspects behind the drapes of the Black Metal amphitheatre.
What are the unearthly goals and forces of motivation that fuel these persons’ use of the musical proclamation medium?
The elected standard-bearers of doomsday are:
Horns (CHI), Wod (SWE), Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult (GER), Kaosritual (NOR), Hetroertzen (CHI), Celestial Bloodshed (NOR), Sons Of Fenris (FRA) & Tomhet (SWE).
In addition to the preaching of these murky gatherings there are also occult writings sections, reviews of later published propaganda and more to make the seal upon this testament valid. |
