Sabbath Assembly is great.

Last year they did a live gig in the old theater in Bruges and the footage of that can be found entirely on youtube:

Modern black metal sucks because it's performed by lousy musicians who can barely handle their instruments, fuck "atmosphere" and give me proper metal riffs to bang my head to or just fuck off.

SubRosa wipe the floor with bands like Blood Ceremony and the majority of female fronted doom or whatever. I guess I'm a bit biased.

I really like SubRosa's last one, but I like Jex Thoth, Sabbath Assembly, and The Devil's Blood a lot too. SubRosa have a less retro and more distinctive sound though.

Has anyone heard anything about a new record? I really, really like the last EP, and I'm just noticing that was 2010....

I don't have a facebook and their website is pretty un-informative so I thought I'd take it to the next level and ask here Twisted Evil

Purson. Easily beats most of more well-known modern "occult 60s" bands.
