|
|
As Im not an expert into death metal I want you to ask for the most fucking dark sound death metal albums; those where apart from the aggressive sound you can find a really sinister atmosphere. Something that can drown you into total darkness.
Two albums I consider an example of them are "GODMACHINE" 1998 from the band ANASARCA and "Raped in their onw blood" 1996 from VOMITORY and their respective band demos.
Regards!! |

Depravity were Finnish. Perfect band for this description though.
Plenty of newer bands doing dark as fuck Death Metal, such as Grave Miasma, Antediluvian, Prosanctus Inferi, Aethyrvorous, Arkhon Infaustus, Mitochondrion, Execration to name a few. |

Yes to all of the above.
Mitochondrion are the darkest & most oppressive live death metal band I've seen. _________________ Analog Worship

Liers in Wait - Spiritually Uncontrolled Art also must be mentioned. Some of the darkest and most chaotic death metal this side of hell. |

I think Atonement Ritual is one of the best in recent years. Haven't given the latest enough spins yet though. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |
