I'm gonna have some free time in Prague between WOA and Brutal Assault, does anyone know of some good metal stores and metal pubs there?

Thanks, and yeah, I know Metal Travel Guide, but I'd rather get more personal recommendations from people who actually were in those places.

Hell's Bells was pretty cool... you'll dig the paintings, cheap beer and ambiance. First time I went, they played Judas Priest' British Steel (completely), but then they put some Dream Theater... and it fucked up my mood. Haha.

I was at Hells Bells the night before Iron Maiden played in Prague in 2005. They played pretty much the whole Maiden catalog up to date during the night. What a great service! Haha.

And beer anyways is dirty cheap in Czech so wherever you go, you get totally wasted for small money. Excellence.

I just returned from a two week trip in Czech republic. Hells bells really is the place to be. We went there two nights, got totally wasted for cheap (€1 or €1,20 for half a litre of good beer, no hangover ever!). First night we had a nice bloke after the bar, we asked for some Bolt thrower and he played 5 songs in a row for us. Second night there was some asshole behind the bar. Beer still stays cheap and music good but...
I also recommend going to a local pub. Even just 50 meters from the crowded tourist places you can find pubs where no tourist ever comes. Cheaper beer (eventhough for the really cheap beer you need to go outside Prague) as well.
