Corpsessed's EP has been one of the darkest Death Metal albums I've heard in a while, along with Sonne Adam's 'Transformation'. The doom influences certainly help.

One of my all-time favorites, I just don't consider it dark. It's more fucked up and twisted than dark to me. Like I said in my last post, "dark" is too broad and subjective of a term.
