The new 7" is already very promising. The asphyx'ed sound of the Celtic Frost cover is just awesome (or asphyxiated sound Wink ).

though i tihnk it was kinda gay to speak all the time that "well.. we dont know is there going new album or not". But i was expected that them will announce that after this 7"EP

I am dreading the new Asphyx album. The riffs on that Death The Brutal Way seem to me all old riffs changed slightly and rehashed. Without Eric Daniels, Asphyx just ain't Asphyx.

Personally I'm hoping they follow directly from "On the Wings of Inferno" - great album, hardly anyone talks about it.

I agree. If this sounds like "On the Wings..." (or the Soulburn album, which is also criminally under-rated!) I'll be quite happy with it.
