I don't like all by Moyen. That old Goatlord cover sure is great, Beherit is good...but it's not so my style |

I like Moyen's work on Beherit a lot, but not all he have done.
The cover on Black Sabbaths first LP is my favorite at the moment. |

Early covers by the godly Dan Seagrave (Pestilence, Gorguts, Dismember, Entombed..)
Andreas Marschall (all Immolation covers)
Chris Moyen of course
Desmond Sia (did most if not all Impiety's covers - check out the Kaos Kommand 696 digipak cover art - total kvlt)
Michael Whelan (Sepultura's Arise)
Can;t remember the artist's name who did Engorged's (the DM band) cover _________________ Looking for DEATH METAL bands!

Mortuary Drape-All the witches dance and Secret Sudaria. It takes some balls to use such incriminating images, also these covers perfectly reflect the atmosphere within the music. |

A lot of my obvious faves have already been mentioned, but a couple of other metal and non-metal sleeves that rule my eyes are:
Inepsy -- City Weapons LP (Chany rules!)
Amebix -- Arise! (Not really a great sleeve per se, but it's so iconic and it captures the mood of the album perfectly)
Icons of Filth -- Onward Christian Soldiers LP
Cathedral -- Most album covers
The art on the inside of the CD booklet for the Axegrinder / Prophecy of Doom split CD is incredible.
Destruction -- Release From Agony....
etc etc fucking etc... |

That's a hard question... if I look around me, it's probably Witchfinder General's Death Penalty. It's so raunchy! |
