Featuring EMM (aka Nameless Void) of Negative Plane (vocalist/drummer V, and bassist/backing vocalist MAL complete the OCCULTATION triumvirate), "Three & Seven" is a psychedelic vortex of audial terror. A true sonic nightmare where references from ancient horror soundtrack, '70s prog, classic '80s dark rock, classic cult metal (Mercyful Fate, Death SS), and post punk (Mighty Sphincter) bleed together to create one of the most surreal, intriguing, and intimidating releases of the year. While also at the same time, serving as the fist in the face to the female-fronted occult-doom/rock movement.
Tracklisting to "Three & Seven" goes as follows:
1. The Sea of Snakes and Souls
2. The One Who Sleeps
3. Shroud of Sorrows
4. Dreamland in Flames
5. Living Portrait
6. Double Walker
7. Three & Seven

| The demo really grew on me over time. At first, I thought I didn't like it very much, but then I found myself listening to it over and over. I have high hopes for this one. |

Description and cover look/sound excellent. Will it live up self imposed hype? I will determine based on open minded sampling of tracks and will purchase according to unbiased reflection of music sounds....
Vinyl version? Get real.... |

Quite liked the 7" - it was eerie and weird. Will definitely check this out too. I'm surprised it came out so fast, I wasn't expected it for a couple more months. _________________

Not bad - I dunno about this "fist in the face" to other female occult rock thing - isn't it like 4 bands? It's barely even a dinner party
It's pretty cool. I'd buy an LP if it was done right, I suppose.... but based on Living Portrait from their soundcloud it sounds like Negative Plane with a female vocalist and hardly the sum of it's referenced parts. |

Cannot get into this. Sounds like something not quite completed/finished... or listening to someone's party or the album muffled through a wall.
The cover art on the other hand... wicked. Too bad it's the cover of this album. |
