What do you recommend as far as bitter/hoppy porters go? Tonight's a 6-pack of Red Trolley Ale. _________________

| The ones I can think of that would be readily available in the states are Brooklyn brewery Black Chocolate Stout (I don't find much differece to porter so I'm counting it as one) which might be the best one in my book without a hint of over-sweetness AND the Fuller's porter which I think I've talked up several times on this thread for its ability to pack in tons of bitter flavor in spite of its relatively low alcohol contents. Both are really high quality stuff. |

taste like a Boulevard jammed with lemonade juice. probably wouldn't look as cool drinking one of these at the bar as the lemon in shades does

Love this beer. One of the most solid, no extra bullshit porters around. A lot of the American craft breweries have some pretty interesting, more exotic porters, but I'll always be happy to have a glass of Fuller's. Also the Sam Smith Taddy Porter. |

| Some good beers mentioned here. Chimay, fuller's porter, etc. I still maintain that imperial stouts are the most metal things you can drink. |

the Chimay blue is my favorite of them, i'd love to try some of their cheeses also. Chimay gets better with age, but i don't have the time to let a bottle of it sit around for a few years. someone should already age it/sell it if its supposed to be better aged. _________________ good users |

So, I decided to try a 40 oz the other day just to see what malt liquor tastes like. My friend didn't want me to go all out negro (King Cobra or Colt .45), so he decided on the classy 2 for $3 fohtiez of Old English 800. Ashamedly, I actually liked it.
We had a party and brought a bunch of liquor too. Almost blacked out. Was told the next day that I started rapping and then going off on a racial tangent while simultaneously peeing off of a trampoline with the sprinklers on in the backyard. Apperently ended the night with falling on the laptop that we were using for Netflix.
Fvkk.
