Well it's got its atmosphere, and that's what counts for me. "Fallen" hasn't got any whatsoever. Plus the chinese outro ruined everything that had yet to be ruined... I just hope the "Hvis Lyset/Filosofem" re-recording won't ever happen (just imagine what he'll put on the cover).

Have you read some recent interviews? DTBRex didn't just make the Neanderthal thing up! Varg really has been hyping Neanderthals lately - actually, going back at least two years.
It seems like he now looks back to those rare ould Neanderthal times as the good old days, the true European "golden age"...! |

There is a small conspiracy or alternate beleif on historics that claim the cave men or neanderthals were not simple minded cretins, but actually technology was as equal to or possibly surpassing what we've acheived today, but more reliant on nature and less on mechanical.
If he is leaning towards that manner of thought and not the conventional school of thought on cave men it could be interesting. |

Can anyone recommend a good otologist or proctologist or whatever it was that DTB said anyone that liked this album should visit. Preferably in Reykjavík, but the Hafnafjörður area is also okay. It seems I need to see one.

Honestly I haven't paid attention to any Burzum after Filosofem. Though I had a girlfriend who played me Belus, I thought it sounded sterile and lifeless.

| I got the cd yesterday and had a couple of listens. It's not terrible but it's definitely a bit of a downer. I can't make my mind up if it's just jadedly spewing out records for the sake of it or if it's just gone all too artsy fartsy and going over my head. All in all, I reckon he'd have been better off sticking to the plan of 'dropping off the radar' and release a record or two every now and again instead of rehashing old material and spending days writing juvenile whingy statements about hows he's never online, doesn't have facebook (hasn't covered his tracks well on those two) and complaining about media misrepresentation in yet another interview through the media. |

I'm sure it has something to do with the semi-recent hypothesis that humans bred with neanderthal once we got out of sub-saharan africa and it is the presence of neander-DNA that makes us whites/asians/latinos better than africans.

Theres some missing 'link' as they refer in the hominid evolution scale. I'm no teacher of this stuff, but I read a little here and there... and the little I gather is akin to what I said and what blodhemn9 added.
When they try to pattern out how 'we' as today came about from all the dna crap they study, there is a missing 'type' or there is something in us that was not in them etc, like another breen or species was at some point inbetween the stages.
This is where you introduce aliens, yea yea, and they intermingled their dna with the habitants of the world and here we are, a breed constructed of a dying race from a dead star, giving their race continunity with the breed of creature that was here at some point.
When you really look into stuff, it's crazy shit bat ass BUFFO nuts science what it would be like for a species from another orb to come to a alien orb... so many factors, the slightest shift in gravity or oxygen content changes everything... evolving to fit the climate or area.
Children of the stars we all are. Now VARG is perhaps talking to aliens to find the trace of the same shit the Nazi Occult sect was also researching. It all add's up. |
