Anyways, I sure was lucky to grow up during the heyday of Skid Row and Poison as opposed to the younger generation who grew up with death metal readily available...

Pantera had their moments, they were kind of a quick gateway to extremities, but they're best on Power Metal. No kidding. Cowboys is OK.

Pantera. My best friend really loved them but i never dug them that much. It was Maiden, Dio, and Exodus that got me into more extreme stuff back in jr high. However, i always liked this Pantera song:
