I absolutely disagree. Corpsessed destroy 'em both. Even though KRYPTS is really good, Corpsessed is so much better and dark
Only SWALLOWED are on par with Corpsessed among the Finnish new hordes

Corpsessed and Krypts are the best of the new Finnish death metal bands, to my ears. Gorephilia is also very good. Swallowed has yet to really grab me.
That said, Krypts is probably my favorite.
It's nice to see a Finnish dm resurgence. I have always preferred the Finnish sound to the Swedish sound.
Almost all regions of the globe are putting out some quality death metal bands.
My favorite American one (because that's where I am from) is probably Horrendous. They definitely have their own thing going on. Great stuff. |

The new 7" is at press now. I'm hoping test presses will be done in about two weeks. Everyone was set back a bit due to Record Store Day, so turn times are a little longer right now.
Corpsessed has begun writing new material for their full-length.
Swallowed and Krypts are both recording their full-lengths now as is Lantern, who just signed to Dark Descent for their upcoming new album.
Tons of crushing Finnish death in 2012.
