Did you email Hector? He took awhile to answer an email of mine, but part of his reply said "... sorry for delay i was out of my zone(i was fishing in a ship, this is my work."
So he might just be out working, unavailable for now.
edit: He did take awhile to answer/mail my cd, but answered my questions and got the album to me. He seemed like an honest guy.

I'm sure the guy is honest, but it seems odd that someone would produce something intended for sale and then not be around to sell it...no offense intended, just seems strange to me.

Guy can't help his profession and it's requirements. It's inconvienent for buyers for sure, but why should it preclude him from doing a label? I do wish he sent some of these to some non-South American distros...as it doesn't seem like I've seen them ANYWHERE else.
I got lucky and caught him at a good time, I got mine about 3 weeks after the initial e-mail.

Of course, it's his label and his life and he can do whatever he wants...but IMO it just seems counter-productive for both him and the band to release a CD that no one can buy unless they get lucky and catch him at the right time. Like you said, I wish he had gotten the CD to some distros before he left.

Nar Mattaru themselves are not happy with Pacto Records. It took an eternity to have the album out, the label doesn't even reply their emails, the release didn't get any kind of promotion and exposure, and is impossible to find in Europe...
The band is currently putting the finishing touches on a new record that will be released later this year on my label. The band also asked me to reissue "Enuma Elish", but I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to damage another label's business, even if it is almost non-existent...
I'll keep you informed about that, but be sure that the new album will be available for all those who want to buy it, on CD and possibly on vinyl.

That's why the band is re-releasing the album through my label. If you live in the States, you'll be able to buy it from NWN! and other mailorders with which I will trade.
