Thought some folks here would be interested. Tickets are available now at Pesanta Urfolk.
Three days and three evenings of music in located in the Sierra Nevada's Tahoe National Forest Desolation Wilderness.
Stella Natura: The Light of Ancestral Fires will be held at Shinnyboo Creek Resort in the high Sierras, in the heart of Tahoe National Forest's Desolation Wilderness. This 160 acres of private property is lush with greenery thriving around every bend, with towering pines shading the trails and paths that lead you to the south fork Yuba River rushing over rock formations into gushing waterfalls and tide pools.
Weekend ticket passes include camping. Attendees will need to bring camping supplies (tent, mat, sleeping bag) flashlight/headlamps (it's dark in the high-country), sunscreen, swimming gear and whatever else you desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Vegan/vegetarians will be well accommodated. Please do not hesitate to bring your own water, though water will be available on site.

| Yeah man! This is going to be great. The idea of a camp out music fest has always been appealing to me. Finally there is an event like this that isn't some reggae, dubstep, blues/dinosaur rock fest. |

| I like the idea of the fest... If only the music performing on it was better... neo crusty pseudo black metal + fake neonazi Lords of Chaos literature isn't as appealing. |

I had the same exact thought as I was reading through the list of bands. The only bands I'd like to see are Mournful Congregation and Hail (if it's the Finnish band). _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

God forbid a fest happens that doesn't include a ton of shitty patched up leather vested cro mags. And it's the Hail from Portland (or there abouts) who were amazing. _________________ Death over enslavement. |

| Seeing Mournful Congregation in the woods within stumbling distance of my tent makes it all worth it. Plus, it's fucking camping. By the end of the fest everyone is gonna smell like a crusty anyways, so get over it. |

no offense, but sounds really weird to europeans how surreal a camping festival seems to you.
i wonder what the reasons are that there arent any, given that there must be so many places /private property like in this cases/ were you could pull it off _________________ www.dyingvictims.com

| The only fests that involve camping around here are either huge events like Coachella, or some dayglo dreadlocked burner festival. |

Finnish Hail is great, but I think this is the US band. Nattens Madrigal worship, not as good as Nattens of course, but they are enjoyable.
Even the album's title is a complete tribute to Ulver (Crimson Madrigal). _________________ Sic transit gloria mundi |

Even though I can attend dozens of 'camping' festivals a year- I'd really be into a fest like this which seems like it's in the wilds- more like say Metal Camp in Slovenia, where the scenery is as much a draw as the bands.
Instead of whining get in touch with the organisers, help out, and try and make next years fest a little more metal friendly (although no doubt that would just draw in the mongoloids and ruin the atmosphere). |

Exactly. If it was just in some fairgrounds parking lot or something I would not be that interested. But this place is in close proximity to Desolation Wilderness and lots of other great spots. I'll probably be spending a decent amount of time on the trail, rather than sitting through the more boring bands. |

I'd love to go to this, but need to save for NWN Fest. Bummed I'll be missing Arktau Eos. _________________
