I've always wondered why they became so big. Most of their recordings bore me to tears. They sound like robots live and their album covers look like shit for the most part.
I got the demo and split 7" from Lino years ago (the 7" arrived broken in half but I managed to find another copy). Unmerciful Order was a pretty decent death metal album. I just got Black Force Domain yesterday, and while it's a decent album it's not a classic as some people claim. I haven't checked out anything beyond this. I'm assuming that they became trigger happy and became pretty bad after this. Prove me if I'm wrong here.
Btw, the Unmerciful Order LP on Hongo Records official or bootleg? _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

I've always thought this band was great. Some of the "trigger" sounding drums are annoying on a few albums. Considering the glut of mosh/slam so-called Death Metal bands these days, it's good to have Krisiun sticking with a more "traditional" DM sound I guess.
"Conquerors of Armageddon" I always thought was their best release. The Drums sound natural and the album just fucking slays all the way through.
Seeing this band live many time made me a loyal fan. They may stick with the same formula a lot, but you can't deny that they are very talented with their respective instruments, and for a three-piece, their sound is fucking massive live. Morbid Angel sounded sounded so wimpy having to follow up Krisiun at one show I attended. |

'Black Force Domain' and 'Apocalyptic Victory' are great records. After that they bore me to tears. When I got my hands on 'Black Force...' the Death Metal scene was dead pretty much & this record tore my fucking head off. I saw them smash Morbid Angel (and all the other bands on the bill) in Holland in 1999 but yeah...they got boring quick. It's all the same after the second record to me. _________________

I'll try this out if you say the drums are natural. _________________ Contact: nwnprod@gmail.com

Heh them become big cause them are like robots on stage probably, pretty cool guys at least when i saw them during visiting russia last year... and good live band, though cannot say that musick is catchy for me... and i can agree about drum sound.... one of those bands that i probably will never buy album(maybe even dont download to check out), but rather ok to see live |

I am pretty sure that it is a boot. The older stuff that I know is official is the split 7" with Harmony Dies and the split LP with Violent Hate. |

I've never really checked out much from Krisiun (except the stuff they play live) and of course, Black Force Domain. It's not as great as one might think. I don't find myself pulling it out of my collection to listen to it at all but it still is a good album. I wouldn't know what else to check out from them but these days I'm not really interested in listening to anything by Krisiun anyway. :-\ _________________ Der Rest ist Schweigen. |

I saw them live sometime between 1997 and 1999 I think ! I do only remember the club, not with whom they played somehow ! Only know it wasn´t MORBID ANGEL.
Anway, they blew me away live and the guys where really great ! But I never bothered to check out anything else beside Black Force Domain which lost it´s charm after a while .... Haven´t listened to that album since ages. |

Krisiun should be enjoyed live, but great they are not either way, record nor live. Boring, thy name is Krisiun _________________
