Got the Witchrist in the post today the music is great but I am a bit disappointed with the lack of artwork in booklet I was expecting loads of pictures like in the Beheaded Ouroboros booklet. |

The new album is really hit and miss, some of the songs sounds pretty good while others are mediocre and seem drag on at time . I think I'll stick with Curses of Annihilation and Beheaded Ourborus. |

I like the fact that some of the songs have a little "breathing room". It really adds to the atmosphere.
Definitely, a top album of 2012, for me. "Funeral Lotus" might be my favorite Witchrist track yet. |

This. The first half of the album just drags for me, but actually picks up when Beyond Darkness and Death starts. |

Like many reviewers, that guy shouldn't be writing reviews. |

"Everything about The Grand Tormentor(no doubt a reference to Benediction's The Grand Leveller)"

Heh, I also saw that line and thought that. What a dickhead thing to say. In that case it might "no doubt" be a reference to The Grand Torturers of Hell or maybe even Grand Declaration of War. Some people... _________________ Only Booze is Real.... |

It's obviously a reference to "You're a Grand Old Flag". Also, referring to "Beheaded Ouroborus" as a combination of Archgoat, Incatation ,and Beherit. _________________

Quality quotes.
Quote: | The Black Twilight Circle, along with related record labels Rhinocervs and Crepusculo Negro, has become the center of the American Black Metal scene not through style and image, but by releasing some of the best Black Metal on Earth. |
Quote: | Anhedonist are clearly seeking to combine the more layered, aggressive Death/Doom of a band such as Funebrarum(an obvious influence) with Funeral Doom. |
Quote: | I give bands the common courtesy of waiting until after the official release before pirating the album... and sometimes, when I am feeling kinda crazy, I even pay for music. In 2012. Creepy no? |
Quote: | Death Metal did not exist until New York and Finland started making it. |
Quote: | Cruciamentum escape the "Incantation clone" tag and develop a sound as inspired by Bolt Thrower and Benediction |

This dude has heard around ten bands, and everything he reviews sounds like at least 6 of them. Also describes things as "Satan". Look out, Decibel. _________________
