I've heard that this was guys from Emperor, and I don't think it was a tribute band. |

Not the most fitting thread, but this made me remember when a Hungarian zine editor interviewed one of his country mates and asked a question like: "So is it allowed to listen to Mayhem and Burzum simultaneously, knowing that Varg killed Euronymous? Or should you hate Burzum because of that?" Can't remember correctly unfortunately, but as far as I remember this was the point of it.
Fortunately (and to my biggest surprise) the interviewed individual had enough braincells to point out how stupid this question was.

Interesting, I never heard it was Emperor. I know it's a stretch, but is there any reliable source for this? |

Otherwise: Forget BURZUM! ENTIRELY. But do forget the new and current BURZUM just a little more entirely.
Its nothing but another died off branch on the "true norwegian bm"-tree.
Remains only ILDJARN, RAVN and MIN KNIV at the Moment... or has anybody something in that vein? Because ONLY THAT style IS norwegian BM! |
