Yep. Magic was far more formiddible and dangerous before everyone was learning about SCIENCE in school.
Now even grade school kids can cast spells with the right powders and potions. Crazy that it all comes down to chemicals. Who would ever have thought ?
Having said that though... the ritual can prove uselfull to channel a certain midset, but some of us don't need the ridiculous appearance of the ritual to manage that. There is a strange gray zone between science and magic yet unexplainable, there is power in the mind... but it hardly requires skulls or symbols drawn in blood or candles... all that is atmosphere to help focus, if you can focus without that you can acheive the same results. |

I have no dispute that it can be used to channel alternative states and can be interesting as a means of delving into the subconscious, something I have yet to give a go, but would like to one day.
However I would consider it foolish to think I'd experienced something supernatural.
So yes, we're probably agreeing with each other's point basically.  |
