| new song rules.. definitely excited to hear the whole album. If the rest of the album is like this, could be the best thing since Diabolical.. or at least Infernal Storm. |

Complex? U mad?
It took me two listens to disentangle this song while some songs on Onwards.. or Mortal Throne... are still mysterious after many spins.

Didnt know some considered Onwards and Mortal Throne to be RECENT albums of Incantation... 
So yeah, compared to Decimate and Primordial which are what I consider to be RECENT albums, yeah you have much more riffs and changing drum patterns in a short track like this one

I've noticed the word "recent", but it still bugs me how can you use word complex next to this music..
Hope that album itself will be much better than this song.

More great material from Incantation...
What sticks out for me on this new one: the lead guitar.
I never could have predicted (years ago) that death metal would turn back on itself and spawn an entire new generation of Incantation-influenced bands...but I'm enjoying it.  |

| I've listened the new album twice and it's not good at all. I don't remember a single song. In fact, there is not a single riff that I want to hear again. Vocals are very bad too. If this is the best they could write after 6 years maybe it's better to call it quits. To be honest, I think their last trully good album was The Infernal Storm. I didn't like their last three albums that much, it sounds very uninspired to me, but it seems Vanquish In Vengeance is the worst one so far. |

That would be fine if they were still doing it well.
These days, all I need is Onward to Golgotha, Mortal Throne of Nazarene and Blasphemy.
