Really? They don't seem to capture the feeling of the US at all. I'd say something like early Metallica for the US and AC/DC for Australia. |
That's what I meant with the previous post. Late Manowar could probably incarnate the essence of the US fairly well: overdone, populistic and a parody of themselves. Usurper, too. |
If there was a band that was a mix between Motley Crue and Manowar that would capture the US essence perfectly!

Interestingly, MANOWAR is much more popular in Europe than the U.S. |

wow, never thought id see THE SMALLS mentioned here. they were a local band, first "local" band i was ever aware of. i guess corb lund is pretty big time now. how do you know of them?

NOMEANSNO is another good choice for canada.
