The cool thing about this era is that alot of rare/obscure and forgotten demos are being put on vinyl, the best format! What are some of your favorites and what bands/demos compilations would you like to see put on vinyl?
Some of my favorites:
Voor - Evil Metal
Sarcasm - Never After/The Complete Recordings (this one is excellent, some of the best swedish death metal I've heard)
Archgoat - The Aeon of the Angelslaying Darkness
Sarcofago - Desecration of Demos (bootleg, but still a well done one)
I've heard good things about Katharsis' (Ger) demos, but all I've had are some rather lousy dub cassette tapes, so I can't judge the music too well, so I think it would be awesome if their demos were put on vinyl. _________________ "By all evidence we are in the world to do nothing."

All the Dark Descent and Crypt releases kick ass, but I think Abhorrence "Completely Vulgar" may be my favorite demo compilation. I also love the Rippikoulu "Musta Seremonia" 12".
Cheers to Svart Records for releasing these two gems! _________________ Evil Is As Evil Does... |

Ultimate favourite demo compilations for sure are...
Absurd - Life Beyond the Grave
Lord of Evil - Satan's Soldier (the 2012 edition)
Abhorrence - Completely Vulgar
Cianide - Ashes to Dust
Goatpenis - Welt in Flammen
Impaled Nazarene - Decade of Decadence
Necrophagia - A Legacy...
Can't figure out many bands that I would want to see a demo compilation out, most of the necessary ones are already out. Maybe Metallica could do an official compilation including all the old rehearsals and demos. _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

The following ones are great:
Hellhammer - Demon Entrails
Nihilist - Carnal Leftovers
Sabbat - Asian Demonslaught
Vomit - Still Rotting
Voor - Evil Metal
The following ones I've got on CD's, but all of them (except for INSANITY) have vinyl versions as well, as far as I remember:
Necrophobic - Satanic Blasphemies
Atomic Aggressor - Rise of the Ancient Ones
Dismember - Complete Demos
Insanity - Death After Death
Denial of God - The Dawn of Aemizaez: Demos 1992-1993
Nunslaughter - Demoslaughter
Damn, this thread reminds me that I still need to get the NME compilation! The HADEZ compilation on NWN! is going to be a great one as well, for sure.
I wish there was a decent Sarcofago demos reissue. The "complete demos" bootleg sounds much worse than the mp3 files I heard before.
I hope that a MORTEM (Peru) and a SadX compilation will be made one day... _________________ Infernal Rock N' Roll: WWW.INFERNALROCKNROLL.BANDCAMP.COM

For the fucking love of fucking fuck!!!!! Where is the Filii Nigrantium Infernalium demo already?!?!? Somebody do it NOW!! Yosuke forgot all about it!
Err... I really enjoy his other comps. like the Tudor collection. I know OP said vinyl but I really dig the Hellhammer - Demon Entrails slipcase book comp., it's my favorite demo collection.
Also I'd dig the Cult of Daath demos on vinyl. Shits amazing. Some great Von worship going on in those demos. |

Nirvana 2002's 'Recordings 89-91'!
The 2009 remix of their demo breaks bones. |

Lots of good ones already mentioned here !
As far as what I'd like to see done goes : It would be great if someone would release the "Swedish Death Metal" companion 3CD set on a nice LP package. So much great material on there ! _________________
