How it was possible to put Striborg in one line with Leviathan and Xasthur?

| I think it's safe to assume that these guys don't necessarily act like this every second of their lives. A lot of people get nervous in front of a camera and there is a good chance that the Striborg guy was egged on by the filming crew to do some of that weird shit. It wouldn't be that far off from them trying to convince Scott to scream for them in the first segment. "It would be really cool if you did bro!" |

| Really entertaining stuff. Always interesting to see how this one man bands set up their home studios, what inspires them to write music and all. Don't care if the guy wears cock hat, or the oher one can possibly be considered a hipster. Its just the way they are besides the music they play. Not that important. |

Yeah, the home studio stuff was actually kind of cool. I would have been into more of that.
Can you imagine, being the park ranger in that Tasmanian forest, sitting there on a bench having a coffee break and all of a sudden that dude walks out of the woods to his cape and sunglasses to get to his car? I mean I know laughing at the more 'out' elements of black metal in 2012 is a bit contrived, but that would be a real mind blower for your average joe even now. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |

I thought it was an alright watch. I never listened to Striborg and am not in any rush to now. The bit in the cave really weakened the integrity of the doc, I felt. Bad enough for us to see it but for any "outsider" watching it, it just fuels the horseshit opinions that they would already have about the genre and metal as a whole.
I have one Xasthur album that never really grabbed me but I checked out two others last night and thought they were alright. Will give them another spin or two and form a proper opinion. Thought the bit when he had his "flashback" was ridiculous.
As for Wrest/Jeff, I like both LoC and Leviathan and thought he was a interesting character. |

I doubt it, the ranger would flash the horns and probably say something like 'SLAYER!!!' |
