The lyrics and riffs are pretty good. Hull is a talent no doubt. New album seems to have nice production.

The old stuff on 38 Counts of Battery is a far cry from that - the only Pig Destroyer material I like. Just violent grind/thrashcore with really dark overtones.
All in all I like their previous band Enemy Soil much better...

I saw em live a couple of years back. They're pretty impressive in that setting and don't come across as generic grind at all

Yeah, sums it up really well. Even the Carcass covers are decent enough.
I remember Prowler being ok but Terrifyer just sounding every bit what the OP describes. |
