I remember reading something about the MLP when it was still scheduled to be released by Detest. My recollection is that there were to be three tracks from the O'Hell sessions, and that you had recorded "new" intro/"outro" tracks, presumably to bookend the record.
Tracks one and two are on side A of the vinyl. Both are "track length" (4-7 mintues, by my reckoning). Track three is on side two (clearly one of the three tracks; vocals, structure, etc.), followed by two very short (1-2 minutes, approx.) atmospheric instrumental tracks. The first seems to fade out before the second begins, and the second also fades out.
Sorry to second guess it if that is indeed the intended order. But I was also very surprised by the way the first track began. I thought my cartridge skipped a grove or something, and I thought "Intro track...?"
My question was based on my memory of the statement of new intro/outro tracks. I may have misunderstood. |

It should be like this:
SIDE A
Elegance Above Flesh (Intro) - 2:53
Gaunt and Sallow - 5:02
Deathless Genesis - 6:30
SIDE B
Portals - 6:33
Hear Me O' Death (Outro) - 2:53
Everything all runs from one track to the next though. I still haven't heard the finished product, so hopefully the tracks ended up in the right order! _________________

Well something ain't right then... Here is the running order AS LISTED on the LP
SIDE A
Elegance Above Flesh
Gaunt and Sallow: Catacombs of Aeternity (sic)
SIDE B
Deathless Genesis
Portals
Hear Me O' Death
If we are just talking about the way the disc is banded, there are definitely five tracks, and the shortest two are without question side B tracks 2 & 3. The two tracks on side A are at least 5-6 minutes each; and I can absolutely swear that the first side contains nothing that I personally would call an "intro".
I think somebody fucked up the running order of the tracks, and I don't think that the tracks as presented are identified with the correct titles, either.
Still love the record, it just threw me when I listened to it the first time. |

I wrote the label concerning a CD release and they said yes down the road. |

Yes, I've talked with the label and apparently somewhere during the file sending back/forth some shit got mixed up. More than likely it was my fault. _________________

Yep. STILL in customs, since October 6th. And apparently there is not a goddamned thing I can do about it. _________________

I put in an inquiry to the USPS site last night and got a phone call today; was told "they would maybe sit in customs for a week or so if they are backed up" to which I replied, "they've been there over a month," and I get "well, yeah... that long too, there was a storm..." BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Basically I get them when I get them and hope they're not trashed. _________________

Ridiculous hey ?
It takes like what.. five minutes to determine... Yep it's records, are they good ? Who cares, it's not hand grenades, illegal immigrants or drugs... send them out.
Done.
Having said that, I did the greasy thing and downloaded this record. I'm certainly liking what I hear... a super slow Ride for Revenge with the cavernous death growl of something else over it (only about a minute into the first song though) |

Aarghh.... what a big cock-tease, can't wait to get this. Was listening to the last album yesterday yet again, cannot help but feel that this how death metal SHOULD be played. |

I'm waiting on some trade parcels from Finland, same story... sitting there for a month, no updates, nothing. Meanwhile, a parcel that shipped to me from Germany last week arrived this morning _________________
