Sometimes I wonder why labels always feel the urge to change stuff, remaster, add bonus tracks, "improve" artworks etc when it would probably be far easier to just reissue the album the way it was originally released. I can't believe they don't realize we metal fans are conservative fucks who just don't like changes all that much.

I think sometimes the labels that reissue old releases feel the need to make an album "their own" by fucking with stuff that doesn't need to be fucked with. |

I don't think so. If the label owns the rights to a certain album and if in the contract it's not stated otherwise, the band has no say in the matter. The people behind the label are entitled to re-release it the way it suits them best.

| Not much to say about this reissue, though the album is one of my preferred Swedish DM albums. The main positive point is they're using the original artwork, wierd in the best tradition of oldskool DM covers. |

| Got it in the mail toady. Really decent re-release. Artwork is nearly identical to the original one. There's additional 4 pages insert with old photos and lyrics. NO bonus tracks, no extras etc., which makes this re-release worth buying. Plus 180 g vinyl. It looks/sounds OK to me. Much better than those Regain re-releases. |

It's great that they included the lyrics. Could you post pictures of it? I want to see it have a copy on the way but it probably won't arrive for another 3 or 4 weeks. |
