TETIANBLOOD - WOVEN BLACK ARTERIES
WRATHPRAYER - SUN OF MOLOCH
HELLVETRON - DEATH SCROLLS
URKAOS - I
APTORIAN DEMON - LIBERTUS
DODSENGEL - IMPERATOR
SVARTIDAUDI - FLESH CATHEDRAL(INFUCKINGCREDIBLE)
DEMONCY - ENTHRONED IS THE NIGHT
Hopefully these will come out by the end of the year
THE TRUE WERWOLF - VAMPYRIC MAGICK(CUZ I KNOW IT WILL RULE)
DODSENGEL/NIGHTBRINGER SPLIT (IT WILL KILL)
HONORABLE MENTION: MGLA - WITH HEARTS TOWARD NONE
I'm amazed at the popularity of MGLA - WITH HEARTS it's a great album for sure but I still really favor his MDLOSCI/FURTHER DOWN THE NEST material as his best work but this album really won people over.

Revenge (the new album is fucking all aces)
Blut Aus Nord
Dodsengel (what a hell of a EPIC outstanding release, a double dose of hell and demonic perfection)
Antediluvian + Adversarial ...the split release is wicked.
Weapon ...they did a bang up job on this one, short and sweet.
Serpent Noir ...new album is excellent.
Pseudogod
Mgla
Enslaved
Genocide Shrines

This is their first since Monumension that has disappointed me. There are great moments sprinkled throughout, but its plodding and meandering much of the time. Their last album had killer songs, and this is bloated to my ears. Hoping for some editing on the next one. _________________

Many great releases, but for me, this year is defined by:
Dead Can Dance - Anastasis
Svartidaudi - Flesh Cathedral
Deathspell Omega - Drought
Antediluvian - Logos (if the advance tape counts?) _________________

I see I've posted a couple of albums to this thread in June. Now that half a year from it has passed I can't say I've really paid much attention to new releases of 2012.
Master's Hammer - Vracejte Konve Na Misto has remained the best full-length album. New 7" was even better.
Others:
Revenge - Scum.Collapse.Eradication
Pseudogod - Deathwomb Catechesis
Saint Vitus - Lillie: F-65
Angel Witch - As Above, So Below, a solid NWOBHM-'comeback'.
Running Wild - Shadowmaker could've been worse.
And no new songs, but a needed and a new releases:
Marquis de Sade - Somewhere Up in the Mountains LP
Sanctus - Music for Mars
Can't really think of much, maybe I'm just becoming far more picky on what to listen than before.. |

All my favorites of 2012 already came out in 2011 (or earlier). |

As usual, all sorts of useless Z-league demo bands that will never get anywhere mentioned and obviously not a single word for the only truly crushing metal release this year
clearly not UG enough _________________ Permabanned |

That's your whole problem. |
You win mate - this record is stomping my ass sideways. |

The new Asphyx album worked well live, but on studio I only like a couple of songs really much. |
