But I thought the same of from the devils tomb when it was released I only liked the first song it took me a while to get into the rest of the album which I love now so hopefully in time the new album will grow on me. |
Devil's Tomb was a grower for me too, I'll give this a shot soon. Did I see that Weapon is reissuing all of their pre-album material on LP soon? _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

| Yeah I think it's a cd only release doesn't bother me because I already own all the vinyl releases. |

It has a bit more mid paced vibe to it overall, compared to Devil's Tomb. It has an air of arrogance to it that serves it well .Song writing is great, and the production is clear again but this time the drums don't sound clicky (at least compared to the last album)... big improvement in that category. Overall, I really like it a lot. "Liber Lilith", the fastest track on the album is just fucking awesome to my ears. It sounds much better coming from your turntable, obviously ... :

Edit: I think this guy's review from Metal Review sums up my feelings about it pretty well (besides the comparison to Melechesh..) and he does a good of describing it's sound.

Thanks blodhemn9 for the recommendation, I'll check that song out and I'll probably order the LP on Friday (payday). _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

| Yep, the new Weapon is pretty damned good actually. Hard not to like it, unless you are trying really hard to be a 66 copies or less only fan. |

That's a good album but takes time to see through it. Like it was with both previous ones... _________________ A good hippie is a dead hippie |
