Does any one have any suggestions as to where to start with this band? Been meaning to check them out for a while with the whole Chris Volcano on drums thing and all. _________________ Sometimes it not easy being the best... |

I enjoy all of the Urgrund material. They have a nice Destroyer 666 - Terror Abraxas sound going on most of their stuff.
Unchangeable Fate is probably a well rounded place to start.

Any of the albums (except for Disciples of Supremacy) are good to start. There is close to zero progression between releases so you know what to expect (to the point where we re-recorded tracks from early releases and put them on the last album and doesn't sound out of place at all).
My personal favourites are Unchangeable Fate and the last self titled one (even though I was on it). _________________ Ignivomous merch: abaddon_963[at]hotmail.com

Solid album. Needs more exposure.
All of Urgrund does really. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Unfortunately label decisions have meant that the last and one of the best Urgrund albums will be heard by almost no one.

Not to derail the thread, but is Death To Mankind the same as Deathrune? _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |
