Scored the latest DLP for 10 Very Happy It's a Svart release, thus it looks and sounds great.

You mean Absolute Dissent? Because their latest DLP is MMXII

I still have a hard time with the new albums... Self titled and brighter then a thousand suns are favorites. And all 80a output.

Anyone seeing them live on their tour? Just copped a ticket for the Toronto date. REALLY excited. Their bio says "they will be playing the old stuff..."

Will be seeing them in Vancouver. Pylon is amazing, some of the heaviest stuff they ever did. They've been on a roll the last 3 albums.

This is my favorite album!

yeah great album: really like the guitar sound on that one. murky and dense

other favs:

Whats this for: amazing tribal drumming. "Follow the leaders" perhaps one of my fav KJ tracks of all time

Revelations was a good album too.

Jaz is an interesting guy. Like when in 1982 (I think it was) he disappeared to Iceland believing end of the world was nigh.

TBH i haven't checked out anything since Pandemonium.

I'm all about The Death and Resurrection Show, which sounds quite different to most of their other stuff, which I also like but this song rules.

An interesting rarity/oddment for KJ fans. Jaz moved to New Zealand in the early 90's and did some production work for various bands. The pick of the bunch was a local hardrock band called Shihad - they moved to Australia later and turned into a pretty dull semi stadium rock band. But the album he produced for them, "Killjoy", is really good and well worth searching out on blogs/torrents. As far as I know it was never released outside New Zealand.Has quite a early 90's KJ feel to it.

+ Jaz worked with Armoured Angel as well.
cool factoids, I didn't know that, old Shihad is pretty good.

It didnt get the recognition is deserved because it came out after "Night Time" lp which was a huge commercial success for KJ: a hard album to follow

If we're talking about Killing Joke "Worship", I highly recommend' Amebix - Sonic Mass': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE-YTRkb85Q
